Before review begins
A payment is usually eligible for refund if requested promptly before review work begins, subject to applicable consumer law and provider fees that may lawfully apply. Contact support with the application reference rather than payment details.
After review begins
Once a reviewer has started, requests are assessed case by case because part of the paid service has been performed. If clarification is requested, we normally allow time for a response before deciding the outcome or refund request.
Insufficient evidence
A rejection means the available material did not support the requested certificate; it does not say the hike did not occur. A full or partial refund may be offered depending on review stage, evidence quality, clarification history, applicable law, and work completed.
Issued certificates and errors
An issued certificate is usually non-refundable. If Verified Hikes made a material error, correction, reissue, or refund may be appropriate. Duplicate charges, failed technical fulfilment, or provider errors are eligible for investigation and correction.
How to ask
Email support@verifiedhikes.com with the application or certificate reference and a short explanation. Do not send card data, credentials, raw GPS files, or identity documents.
