What QR verification shows
The public record shows safe certificate metadata, registry signature status, evidence summary, issuer, and PDF fingerprint. It does not show private GPS files, uploaded photos, permit details, contact details, payment data, or reviewer notes.

Common questions
Is this endorsed by a trail authority?
No, unless explicitly marked Partner Confirmed or Authority Confirmed. Verified Hikes certificates are independent evidence-reviewed records.
What does Verified Hikes not claim?
We do not claim official trail-authority status, race results, permit validity, safety advice, or guaranteed route conditions.
What does the QR page reveal?
It shows safe certificate metadata, status, verification level, PDF fingerprint, and registry signature status. It never shows raw evidence.
Can partners use this for clubs or guided groups?
Yes. Partner tools support claim codes, partner-associated submissions, and controlled partner confirmation levels.
What if my evidence is unclear?
A reviewer may request clarification. A rejection means the available evidence was insufficient for the requested record, not that the hike did not happen. Refund eligibility follows the published refund policy and review state.
How long does review take?
The usual review target is 2–3 working days after payment and evidence upload. Complex routes or clarification can take longer.
