How Verified Hikes protects private evidence
Evidence is reviewed privately. Public pages and reports expose only safe certificate metadata and aggregate operating counts.
What stays private
Raw GPS files, coordinates, photos, filenames, storage keys, presigned URLs, emails, payment provider payloads, reviewer notes, and private support notes are not public.
What becomes public
A public certificate can show certificate ID, trail, public recipient display name, completion date range, verification level, issue status, fingerprint, and signature metadata.
Reporting concerns
Anyone can report a certificate issue for review. Reports are handled through support workflows and do not expose private evidence.
